Exhausted
Finally it's Friday and I had an opportunity to take a breath after a long week of intensive studying. Although I still have one more paper to go but it is still a relieve that I manage to survive for 3 papers. It been a long week and my entire week was spent inside the study room with my books. This is the 1st time in my life that I studied so intensively that I am even impressed with myself. Every morning when I opened my eyes the 1st thing I do is to on the TV, switch to channel news asia, brush my teeth, hit the books and wait for Chris to come home from work. Yes, every day I wake up at 7.30am and start to study. The only time I am not facing the book is when I went out to buy breakfast and eat my breakfast. I even bring my book to the toilet to study, sit on the kitchen floor to study while I cook my dinner and even before I sleep. I am amazed by my action but I have no choice.
Now I am having a serious headache but I am still relieve as I just finish one of the paper I fear most; Economics, although I have the feeling that I might fail but I manage to sit through it. I also dun know what is wrong with me as from the 1st paper till now, after every paper I will have this serious headache that will last till the next day. Maybe is I used too much of my brain cells ba cause I never have such pressure when I was in poly or even my 'O' Levels.
Before I register for my degree my cousin had warned me that taking a degree is totally different from poly but I thought to myself that things won't be that hard but I was wrong. Although the subject and information is like the same as poly but the hard part is the exam part. The structure is so scary that I have to study and write my ass off! If you think that 'O' Level English that have the total score of 110 marks is scary than you should be very afraid of degree cause the weightage is 200 - 300 marks and 1 question is 100 marks! 1 QUESTION! They give you a simple 2- 3 lines of question and you have to write at least 5 pages of answers for them! @&^$#&@^$!!
Just now on the way home from school my friend mentioned that he might want to switch the degree options from the Honours options to just the degree option. The difference? BIG difference! Honours roll have to take 4 papers while degree options only take 2 paper each term. This is like a big burden off your shoulder lor! I also have the urge to convert coz I am not sure I can survive for the next 1 year plus with 4 papers each term. To think about it who am I to say it is hard when so many of my class mate manage to pull it through the 1st year? Yes, I have the luxury and benefit to be exampted from the 1st year. Anyway I will have to think about it ba.
And by the way Starhub FINALLY terminate my line. Which it does not concern me coz for the past 1 week I need the concentration to studies and without the HP I am able to concentrate. But I still need to pay the bill if not my mother is going to go to the police station to report me missing. HAHA....
